Re: sub genre's of dubstep?
Brostep is just a derogatory term for aggressive wobbly dubstep that this forum came up with. Richie August and a few others jokingly embraced it (see the joke that is brostepforum.com).
Drumstep is just another name for half step drum n bass.
Drillstep doesn't exist.
Gorestep is just Borgore.

Gorestep is just Borgore.
Statement of Intent VIP / Sahaquiel v4 single out now on UK Trends.

Have not heard of Gorestep... Did someone just make that up?????
Re: sub genre's of dubstep?
lol...One thing that makes Dubstep special (as long as it can hold out at least) Is that there are no actual subgenres yet. So far it's been good because it has allowed people to experiement on how far you it can be taken. It's seems crazy that El-B and Borgore can be considered the same but it actually makes sense looking at it's evolutionary history.
The only thing I know is that anything around 140 BPM with heavy Percussion can be considered Dubstep. The feel may vary but it's all essentially the same.
