The first ever Ballast Presents is going off with a bang.

We’re bringing together some of the biggest talents in production with the young guns who are coming through with new and exciting sounds. Come along on the 9th of July for:

DARKSTAR
This two man production team is one of the most influential working in London today. Darkstar's debut EP pivoted around the tune Aidy's Girl is a Computer (click the link!), which drew attention from both the alternative scene and the mainstream press as the duo were featured in the Guardian. Expect heavy beats and some brain melting treble twiddling.

MOSCA
A totally original pioneer in the field of electronic music, Mosca first rose to our attention through Elevator Music with the tune Gold Bricks, I See You - an eminently danceable track comprising a great vocal sample backed up with a nice set of beeps and bloops. Not to be missed, Mosca never fails to get pulses going and feet moving.

FANTASTIC MR FOX
Fantastic Mr Fox - originally from Wolverhampton - has set the London scene alight with a series of performances with the likes of Hyp Hyp Hyp and Deadly Rhythm and returns for the first ever Ballast Presents. Check out Sketches (after taking a deep breath and finding some space to dance where you're not going to break anything). He's also catching the attention of some of the elder statesmen of the genre, and is soon to be found supporting Daedelus and the Field.

KAVSRAVE
Have a listen to PClart, which has been dropped by luminaries like Ramadanman, and it pretty quickly becomes apparent that Kavsrave is something a bit special. His Quotes EP is out now and well worth checking out. We think he's going to make a big splash in London, and Ballast Presents is proud to be spreading the love.

YOUNG MONTANA?
Young Montana? is a real gem, and Ballast Presents is delighted to announce his first ever London show. We're all about making history here. As Mary Anne Hobbs' "favourite unsigned artist", we're pretty sure his set is going to be an "I was there" moment in a few months' time. Check out his mix for MAH or have a listen to any one of his tunes to get a taste, then come to the feast on the 9th.
