Got degree result earlier. . . managed to bag a first. Well chuffed.

Out to all the old 2006 london crew who's company i enjoyed so much it led me to repeat my first year lol....you know who you are, big up.

Any other ninjas graduate this year? How did you get on? Wiggle B - got your results yet? I'm sure you caned it.

On the negative side, i'm still a skint graduate and I cant afford to go to the most excellent (and sold out) Freerotation festival later this month. PM me if anyone wants my ticket.

haha nice one badge...i guess grades are somewhat irrelevant really anyway, certainly in my game (motion graphics) it's much more about your technical/creative ability rather than your academic success. still tho,

Im...kinda there too! Just got results, and yeah ive passed all my finals and dissertation etc! Unfortunately im so far behind on my treatment numbers that I can't graduate till christmas at the earliest. Big annoying, but fuck it...should never have to do an exam again

Well done mate! I managed to pull a 1st out the bag as well, graduating next week with a MEng (Hons) Mining and MIneral Engineering.

Fair play man.. a 1st is fucking great i was nosing around your show reel now doubt you'll land a job. I remember being in the new designers show (many years ago now) and seeing the work the Mograph people pumped out from Ravenbourne and i kicked myself for not going there heh heh....

I got a wrong number leaving me a message thinking I was some investment banker. I called them back and set em straight and they offered me a job in IT - then they realised that I'm an English graduate

Haha, well, it's my last year so might as well finish.

I do absolutely hate it, but - like most business students - I basically do no work whatsoever. Last year I did 4 essays in total. I just walked out the exam and someone asked "What 3 essays did you do?", "3? 3!? FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-"

Are any other graduates in the situation where you search for jobs and they are all in random places scattered about the UK, i want a job but i'm not going to move away to some city where i don't know anyone.

That's exactly what I found but then again I literally applied to EVERYTHING I found just to give me as much choice as possible if I did get any positive replies. I was on the verge of having to move a few hundred miles away for work until I got lucky with a job nearby.

I was looking at the job front like "I'll take whatever is there" no matter where it is purely because of how little recruitment (in my industry) there is going on at the moment. And if you do have have to move away for work, atleast you'll be earning money and getting experience, plus you don't have to stay at your first job forever.

My mate completed a psychology degree a year ago. He was set to go into clinical psychology but it took him a year to get a permanent job just to get the work experience in order to get into a proper training role It's silly really.

I've heard though that if you're interested in doing PhD research those places are much more readily available
