That looks cool.

Just do not like that type of dial/knob. That look has been taking over. Zebra2, circle, shit a bunch of other stuff. Yuk.

Is the beta available to komplete 5 people?

What kind of new stuff are we talking about?

Saw this, looks badass. Woo!

Not really got time to piss about with a beta tho so will wait for full version, due September I understand.

Reaktor is now my favourite synth, so open ended, hardly used anything else in Komplete 5 at all tbh. Ive got a backlog of stuff to try out - wont need to buy a new synth anytime soon.

Let us know what you think, been following the threads on Ableton, NI and KVRs forums too. :)

Tasty! Comes with Electronic Instrument ensembles too, and that Laser synth looks mint. Getting straight on it soon as I finish work, woohoo!

No. Waiting for the final version, or at least a load of time to play with it.

BE WARNED, old ensembles loaded and saved in 5.5 cant be reopened in 5.1 so backup your user library first...

Might not bother then, Reaktor 5.1 is stable for me, don't wanna shake it just to checkout the newer gui and ensembles.

For chirst's sake someone amongst us should be irresponsible enough to try this beta!

Is the .5 a paid upgrade? I've got NO money for software right now, I'm not even trying to try something that i might like if I'm not going to be able to afford it.

fak bro, everytime I have to use the "service center," I have to download updates for the "service center." I'd rather just reinstal the "service center" every time.

Who is the "service center" serving?

Sorry for all the air quotes, but I'm tired of the... you guessed it, the "service center."

Faking service center is rejecting my password, even though it's saved in the password box. A travesty of service.

LOL @ nowaysj and his air quotes
Dude you don't need to use service centre just that link i posted above. Yeah the forvever updating service centre is almost as bad as the forever updating audiofinder. Every time i load that thing up there's a new version to download. Frickin toast for the mac aswell , bah!
Anyways i gave 5.5 a good battering yesterday and tried out some of the choice ensembles from the user iibrary and have yet to stumble upon one that doesn't work (yet).

Ha, figured that one out the hard way! Thanks for the link. Picked up the battery beta while I was there! Been meaning to try those emulations out. I like old crunchy.

The beta for battery terminates on 7/30, and apparently they've uninstalled my previous version. What happens on 8/1?

The reaktor install took for ever, and for some reason, I still have reaktor 5.1 something on my system. How did that happen? Why has this happened for almost every update I've had with ni products?

Yeah komplete 5 has all the folders all over the shop, i upgraded to komplete 6 and it was a ballache to say the least but atleast they're now all in the one place. I've had two automated messages from them recently saying i owe them 27 dollars and they've never responded to the WTF reply they got the first time, and they've ignored me before about a kore discount coupon that never worked. In summary NI's customer service sucks donkey balls.

It's 7:07 in the morning and I have reaktor 5.5 beta installed, as well as the 5.1.5 og installed. I know that's gonna cause some trouble somewhere down the line.

This is jokes man. I work with a lot of other software, and nothing is as difficult to work with.

Just the install time... takes like a half hour to install this.
