Happy Year of the Pig to everyone. This year is actually the year of the Golden Pig, so regarded as a very lucky year for earning/receiving money and wealth as it only comes around every 60 years.
The fireworks are going off on a massive scale and the city center is crowded to fuck. I'm going to the park in about an hour to set off some big fuckoff fireworks and then getting ratarsed. And we have a 7 day holiday

Edit: I was born in 1981, the year of the Chicken.

'85 here. Born in the same year as Microsoft and Apple really got the ball rolling on the computer front, so it was just fate that I became a geek down the line I guess

Who's rollin 90s style? bad childrens' tv shows in the morning, power rangers, top of the pops at its cheesiest - all that good stuff.
