Need advice on organsing a top night

Organising an outside party for about 150-200 people, need recomendations on what equipment can be easily hired, moved, set up and rented on the cheap. Of course the soundsystem is the priority, but what size will be adequate to supply some decent bass etc

also any advice on lighting, generators, PA or anything you think will help with us organising an unforgetable night will be welcomed.
