why has no1 ever thought about combining metal with dubstep?

Post by bass_killa » Wed Jul 28, 2010 11:06 am

and when I say metal I don't mean cheesey powermetal shit, I mean doom metal / sludge metal. I'm yet to hear any sort of dubstep artist have metal guitars, at 140bpm half time that would be perfect. and double-pedal blasts.
I'm either gonna buy a cheap squier git or just sample something. I love all the reggae/dub influence in dubstep, and the electrohouse sometimes work but alot of the datsik isn't doing much for me even though it's trying to be 'hard' I want harder stuff.
just when you thought borgore was shit ... along comes Magnetic Man's i need air.

I don't know if this is cheesy powermetal or the other thing but it's more metal then dubstep and i really hate this song.
Still, maybe you'll like it:

Doesn't get more metal than sampling Meshuggah and Bad Brains.
