Wharfedale 9.1 diamond speakers

& Fatman something amplifier

Moving onto mainly dj'ing with maybe a bit of scope for production in the future...
Would I be advised on selling both amp and speakers to get a pair of monitors and mixer? Or would a mixer be sufficient enough?
Do most djs buy monitors or speaker + amp (for loud home use)?
No probs regarding sound, and have a sub as well.

Thanks for any advice.
Yeh. Get some cheap Cd players and good record players. Get powered monitors if you can. You'll need a mixer too. :) Here's my set up -

Its just a coffin with tables and a cheap cd player. The powered monitors are hooked to the mixer and the mixer to the PC via USB gadget. Note the ghetto book stacking and boxes. you gotta do what yah gotta do.

Haha it doesnt look too bad. what cd players and record players you currently using? and you reckon its worth getting both...as opposed to getting one format that covers both? and how much roughly did you spend overall?
Thanks
They are some rack mount Numark cd players ($200) the mixes turn out good too. The record players are Technics with a big cheap Berhinger mixer. 'got the record players, mixer and coffin for $800. It took me a few years to find the right seller.. best advise is wait until you find the right ones for the right price. Find someone who wants to let go of their entire dj setup for cheap. then you get a working system for a good deal. The powered monitors were used from musicians friend for $200. I've been lucky too tho' I've def got an angel looking after me so that helps. It took me 3-4 years to find all the parts and get into a proper studio space.

Its worth getting both CD players and record players. Trust me.
