What you need to do is get yourself a DAW.
Any will do, such as Reason 4, Ableton, Cubase, Logic to name a few. Try a few demos of them, google them, see what you like.

Mess about with it, create some drum loops, mess with the synths, and get used to the software. Have fun with it and dont give up.

Read the stickies at the top here, and read the production bible, all the info you need is in there. Use the search feature at the top right before you ask a question, most likely its already been asked.

Just a quick note on this. Dont bother with the standard search, its shit. Try the dedicated Google search (in my sig) its much better.

Sorry man but how could you possibly have looked for a guide here and not found the one stickied in capitals at the top of the page saying "search these before you ask"? It really bugs me when people pretend like they have tried to find the information on they own when the first thing they've done is clearly start a new thread. If you had only read the second thread title down you would have realised everything you needed was in there.

I think the New Thread button should be right underneath the stickies and really small so you'd have to see them first
