Planet V. You know what it is. One of the most significant brands in Dance music culture is back for a special Carnival Sunsplash at one of London’s most popular clubs, Plan B London.

Anyone who’s been to a Jungle dance will have been to one of the many legendary Planet V’s events throughout the 90’s. Many of the successful promotions around today, will have gained inspiration and much of their pedigree from skanking out at a V dance over the years and we’re back for a pre-Carnival showdown. A mixture of the artists who made V Recordings the well-respected and innovative label it is today with some current, new ones, this is sure to be the party of the summer.

Does Anyone Like Good Music will be hosting the second room, offering a nice alternative of good music and Carnival anthems – getting the waistline ready to wine down low, down Notting Hill. V Baby!

You know what it is.

It's one of the most important brands within the drum'n'bass / jungle scene, helping redefine the sound in the 90s, as well as gathering together the scene's MVP's at the now defunct weekly Movement night. So after a few months off, V Records makes a welcome return to the streets of London, with a one-off Carnival weekend special at one of London’s most popular clubs - Plan B.

Anyone who’s been out to listen to drum'n'bass or jungle in the last ten years will more than likely have been to one of the legendary Planet V events, and their numerous releases over the years (including seminal tracks from the likes of Roni Size, Krust and DJ Die) are still essentials in many DJs boxes, and most importantly, can still tear a dance to pieces!

So, this August bank holiday weekend, V Records invite a selection of the artists who have helped make V the highly influential label it is today, along with some of the most interesting new producers and DJs around to help them celebrate their favourite weekend of the year!

Valve boss, Metalheadz regular and long time V Records associate Dillinja takes centre stage with his bass heavy dubplates, DJ Die brings vocalist William Cartwright with him for a debut performance of their huge Summer anthem 'Bright Lights', with heavyweights Krust, Artificial Intelligence and Jumpin Jack Frost joining the original junglist and V Records boss Bryan Gee in the main room.

Meanwhile, Does Anyone Like Good Music? host a session of reggae, dub, bruk beat, hip hop and Carnival anthems in the basement, with a line up of new and up and coming DJs and, of course, Jordan V.
