Song Structure help

Post by philly » Sun Aug 29, 2010 11:09 pm

So im working on this track and so far it has a 16 bar intro then drops into the main part...
potential problem:
The main part play for 16 bars and then a 8 bar transition. So in total its looping every 24 bars.(it just feels right this way)

Usually keep things in 16's so its easy to mix.

I just have a feeling trying to mix it would be annoying since its not looping on 16 bar intervals or would it work out alright?
(would just test it out but im out of town away from my technics)

Im thinking of extending the main part/transition to make it 32 bars but i like how it is now.
I really appreciate any input guys.
Thanks :D
