recent caspa sets

Post by NG_GAMMA » Mon Aug 30, 2010 8:22 am

I went to run in bristol on friday and popped in the main room to see what caspa was up to these days, even though everytime ive seen him hes played a good set i thought it was becoming abit predictable buttt after probably a year of not seeing caspa he absolutley killed it! and probably played one of the best sets of the night imo

how long has he been doing this for? has anybody got any new sets of his?

cheers in advance

Caspa + Rod Azlan, best MC/DJ combination.

last time I saw caspa I was really disappointed. To be fair he wasn't playing till 4 in the morning but I still thought it wasn't very good

Traveled all the way from columbus Ohio to see him play an afterparty set with chromeo and other house DJ's at club in chicago. Either he played before 12 oclock or he didn't show up. He was in Chitown for Lollapalooza (most mainstream music festival america has to offer). So he was in town no doubt, just didn't get to see him spin for some reason...

anyone know about this?

Probably bailed on the late night show since the club was full of homos no lie. Mad shitty

To suggest that a DJ bailed on a gig because the club was full of predominantly homosexuals is fucking retarded.
I am not in a position to honestly comment on Caspa's sets I have seen recently (seen 20 minutes of him at Creamfields on Saturday) as I could get in trouble.
I just wish he (and every other DJ) would stop playing Sweet Shop as even if the rest of the set has been good, it instantly kills all the goodness.

I got to see Caspa about 3 weeks ago at Hard Summer in Los Angeles. He killed it

The only problem I thought was that Caspa followed a TWO HOUR set from Skream + Benga, who literally mindfucked the crowd (all other sets at this show were one hour long). They really shouldn't have put the two hardest sets at the entire show in daylight right back to back. And even though they didn't leave much room for him to rock the crowd, he still brought it. Good shit.
