Only girl I know who wanted to produce downloaded FL9, took one look at it and told me it was "too complicated" and went back to squealing over 3rd rate Excision clones. Go figure.

i know OT i just like it in here, its a good room. feel free to delete. or discuss.
More so than a woman, I just need to meet a musical partner/friend. None of my friends produce, or even jam, and they all get frustrated with my obsession/time spent alone, and I get really frustrated at my loneliness and lack of creative interaction. I used to play in bands quite a bit.
Plus it does seem imbalanced heavily on the male side, though I could be dead wrong... I don't assume you're all male, but looking at what I know of the industry.... actually, MOST industries. ok I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I like to think that the popularity of and developments in software-based production should reduce social and institutional barriers to women, just like it has for non-"conventional" musicians and younger people.
