New BedroomResearch : Manni Dee - Fluxus (hiphop-wonky-jazz)

Post by subjex » Mon Sep 06, 2010 7:48 am

Here is a Jazz and Soul oriented release for electronica lovers.

This EP is a great combo of Soul, HipHop and Electronica. This 21 years old producer from Brighton truely manage to bring something more to his abstract hiphop/wonky with nice vocals, a sharp sense of soulful melodies (that are not made out of samples) and appealing tones and textures.

The Simple structures are complementing the totaly immersive ambience of tunes like "callaway days" or "Broken Embrace" with its pianos, synth brasses, soft bass and sugarcoated vocals. Another winner is "Flux" that reminds some of the distorted tones heard in Gonjasufi's Warp LP...

So... if you like old "black music" influences AND "computer music", you should love this one. Just click and enter the sweetness.

And once again, we rely on you to spread the word. Cheers!
