***"Digilog" is a brand new tape series from long time dnb dj "react..."
experimenting with music and technology in the digital age while still
remembering the old school analog sound. all sets are recorded live in
the studio going from serato to cassette then digitized in one take with
nothing more than the intro worked out and then jus...t diggin' through
the crates to create a mood and sound of whatever he may be feeling
that day. missing the warmth of cassette and vinyl in these days
of the mp3 he thought this the most appropriate balance. sometimes a little
sloppy but always pushing himself towards trying out something new.
its more of the experience than it is the flawlessness of the set. no
practicing mixes, just straight djing and neck breaking head bobs.
from dnb to dubstep to industrial to post rock and whatever will mix
together...each volume is it's own being.
