Australian Dubstep (first ever tracks! feedback pls =))

Post by Septik » Sun Sep 26, 2010 10:07 am

Hey hows it goin? Im Dan. from Melbourne, Australia.... Just thought i might post up some of my first tracks, i started about a month or 2 a go, and these here are some of the ones that turned out ok.

All these tracks where made using ableton 8 and are original, any similarity to other tracks, is either random coincidence or like a riff was subliminally stuck in my head and somehow found itsway into my waveforms :o

Filth Tree:

Constable Oink (incomplete):

You've got some good sounds coming dude. Maybe try and layer a couple bass drums for a more punchy sound. and a bit of reverb maybe?
What synth are you using to make your sounds? I just got Ableton 8 and haven't a clue how to use it properly. I make all my songs on Reason. :P
Well done, anyway man!

thanks bro, love any feedback!.. i made most my sounds from real world samples i recorded with my phone.. lol like Filth Tree's main synth is actually my coffee machine spazing out... which is common and then i used simpler to edit the sound into something more dubstepy... abletons great fun to muck around in, since i started using it ive just been addicted.
