Thanks brudda, it's PDP X7 Maple series....such a sick kit for a very affordable price.
I record into logic, I only have 4 mics....so I try to use em to their best potentiall....the snare and kick are mic'd, and 2 overheads in dis one i think....then i just mostly set levels..not a lot of eq'ing or effects going on. cheers!

excellent! Placement sounds good! I could never afford mics for my kit but i managed to find an old electric drumkit, still working on getting a good mixed sound out of it. If youre interested, i have a bunch of vids up at www.youtube.com/user/blooandwhite . not much for dubstep, but theres a reso drum along on there
