Re: My Dubstep Track (Give Me Some Feedback)
please give feedback on my topic as well!!! (look for me as topic starter
)
It's a solid track, though I don't find it very inspired. It has hardly any original component. Only the small breaks in between I find interesting. Other than that, it's pretty much like any other filthy dubstep (technique wise). I do have to say you pretty much mastered those techniques, but it lacks an inspired original idea
(don't be insulted please
)
What DAW are you using? And could you please give my track advice as well? http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11655056/Pascal/datisem.mp3
cheers,
dual

Yeah thats sort of what i went for, just a simple filthy track lol. In regards to your track, its melodic fairly well put together. Doing a crosstyle is good
. DAW? If thats the programme its reason 4 i use lol.

I'd go with a warmer sound at least. Structure is all there, just too noisy for my bag.

Re: My Dubstep Track (Give Me Some Feedback)
Pros: bass is pretty filthy. nice work
Cons: The intro though, the frequencies are kind of jarring. Try messing with your osc or find out what's causing the 'chalk on blackboard' feeling in my ears. Also, the track is pretty repetitive. Spend some more time mixing it up, and you'll have a banger!
Keep it up! Shoot me some feedback on my track if you get a chance:
