New to Dubstep
Easy.
So I've basically been a proper D&B head for the past 2 years or so, but really been feeling some dubstep I've heard out at nights....
Unfortunately I know fuck all, which is something that needs to change lol
Just wondering if people could point me in the direction of big tunes/artists I should really know about. At the moment I'm listening to the Skreamism vol. 2 (Skream are big producers, no?), really feeling that 0800 Dub tune....at this point I'm reckoning the darker/more subby it is the better I'll like it (sub bass is really lacking in DnB at the moment).
Sure you get this a lot, any help/advice much appreciated.....

Yeah man DUB IT YAHHH!!
One thing, Skream is 1 person.
If thats the sorta thing u like, keep listening to him..
Loefah goes down well, aswell as Caspa, D1, DMZ.. man too many names to mention..
ALSO..
Check the production forum.. alot of forum users actually make banging tracks.
Download a bunch of sets.. (RINSE/SUB/SPECIAL ONE-OFFS..) so u can identify which artists fill ur palette !

The Dubstep Allstars Series on Tempa are a good start.
In fact anything on Tempa. Same goes for DMZ if you're a vinyl buyer.
Distance - My Demons LP (Planet Mu) for the dark, dirty subby stuff.
And Skream's LP 'Skream' (Tempa) for a right old mix of dark and light.
Oh, and the Burial and Kode 9 LPs on Hyperdub.
All quality.
Prepare your bank account for a battering.
