FWD 16th...the mad one!

Post by markle » Sat Mar 17, 2007 3:51 am

Crazy night.

Got to Plastic at 12.45ish. Quiet - middling. Scientist was just finishing his set. Played a nice finishing tune (id?). D1 was OK. Stevie Hyper D tune got 2 reloads. Big tune! The crowd was subdued, thin and no one seemed up for it.

Skepta & JME turn up. Vibes start bubblin. Get the last couple of tunes form D1 proper kickin. Crowd begins to swell.

Tubby reaches. Newham Generals alongside.....with...man like Dizzie Rascal. Place goes feckin nuts. Peeps are jammin the floor, it's brockin! What a vibe....
Aggy
Intense
Hood
Energetic

A dramatic switch from 30mins earlier.

FWD comes with the mix and blend.

In the words of JME..a 'Serious' night!

Out to Rust an Ratty! Out to Boomnoise, who just avoided get a leng shoved in his boatrace. Easy Bro! :o

Not only tubbs rinsing the set, mans got man on there rinsing. Big to JME, Skepta raving it thru the night, Tubbs, rinsing the sets, Dizzee, for still hitting the endz, footsie n double hurting it. Where was Monksta? BIG BIG Night still!!

You shouldn't, go enjoy yourselves and support the artists. Just know what FWD is about.

I will do. Coz the music is bigger than one club, or radio station and nothing should really get in the way of that. Just felt a little sad about those kinda of changes. Be sad not to see a souljah like yourself at FWD from now on.
