2562 / A Made Up Sound (NL): 90 mins BRIGHTON DEBUT!
Dutch producer / dj Dave Huismans is better known to many as 2562 and A Made Up Sound. His 2562 releases are often referred to as dubstep but with programming that recalls 2 step, it could perhaps be viewed as an example of a true future garage style. His A Made Up Sound releases notably lowered the tempos bringing Dave’s music towards techno, house and even broken beat regions. In Dave’s tunes tuffness is counter-balanced by subtle touches, strict metronomic rhythms are off-set by surprising and skippy accents, there’s hidden depths and upfront directness and multiple sonic perspectives co-existing beautifully under one roof. His albums on Tectonic have won him great acclaim most notably his most recent, 2009's Unbalance. And boy the man can mix!!

Gongon: Well Rounded Records / Cash Antics 2
Gongon is a new artist with multiple releases on Well Rounded in the pipeline. The first of these is a collaboration with Bad Autopsy (who has his own forthcoming release on Ramp) entitled 'Mag' which is featured on the set to be massive 'Cash Antics 2' EP coming soon. This is a beautiful blend of skeletal garage and sublime r&b vocals and can be heard here

Donga: Well Rounded Records
Donga is the owner of the Well Rounded record label and produces as one half of Donga & Blake. His DJ sets are compiled from a very broad taste and vibes range from the feel good to the totally fucked up! Recent sets supporting Rustie and Jackmaster @ Deadly Rhythm and at Dub Pressure in Brighton have been very warmly received. Garage, house, disco, funky and dubstep are all potentially on the menu when Donga spins.

Alex Renegade Youth:
Alex Renegade Youth hails from the Norwich based sound system Roots Renegade where he plays upfront Jamaican reggae and dub. Currently residing in Brighton he has been asked to play with complete musical freedom in his warm up set with a difference. This could easily range from roots reggae and lovers, thru rare groove and boogie and onward into house and contemporary bass music styles.
