LX ONE a.k.a. Joker D Appreciation

Post by murky21 » Thu Nov 11, 2010 9:55 am

Obviously a guy who is known for his mc'ing primarily, but for me lx one is absolutely smashing it at the moment production wise...

Im almost surprised about the lack of hype about him as everything im hearing is gold dust. Mans rolling out some deepers halfstep bangers with some seerious swwiing that are pretty much a staple in Youngsta's sets recently...

latest 1 I heard Youngsta rinsing is Give It Up which is a laaarge tune...he just put it up on his soundcloud >>

Soundcloud

looks like N-Type has been busy and signed up a lot of his dubs on wheel & deal to add to his osiris forthcoming.....other lx one cuts im really feelin-

LX One - Not Good For Me
Sp:Mc & LX One - Down
Icicle & Lx One - Foreseen
LX One - You!

love the sound, hyped about the above being released and looking forward to future productions so some appreciation and a large up to lx one from me...

His style is just the perfect deep dubstep for me. Cyrus dropped You at DMZ and over that system you truely realise how low the bass goes and the production quality. Can't wait for these releases.

Loving all the heads coming from Drum & Bass to Dubstep. Icicle, Sp, Kryptic Minds & LX One are gonna be the future of dubstep.

no doubt ^^ all of the above are heavy artists, I came from dnb myself before dubstep became my bass music of choice, probably why I like them so much... on a dnb tip tho, dunno if any1 caught the dnb segment in Youngsta's show on Nov 4th (available on podcast), was dope...

I agree with every word here, murky. Thread was long overdue. Out to the gold dust! 8)

Neuro-esque sounds in a halfstep style, can't argue with either his or SP:MC's tunes. Loving the cross-over tbh, definitely one of the best creative "camps" atm (Distance, Icicle, Kryptic Minds, Youngsta, SP:MC, LX One, that lot), both in DnB and Dubstep. I dare say even a genre as established as DnB benefits from Youngsta's involvement 8)

Not everything has to be completeley experimental. Always been feeling his tunes, consistently sick darked out stripped back bass heavy rollers, just what the doctor ordered.

I think maybe the lack of hype is due to lack of tunes available once the release start rolling out he'll get more love... not everyone keeps track of tunes before they come out!
