Hey Guys,

DOA has one, so I feel this board needs one too.

A thread for us guys/girls who want to be at home making beats

, But instead, find ourselves sitting in front of a 'Crappy' PC working for 'The Man.'

Not too shabby. My team worked their asses off Friday to clear a large project, so as thank you I'm letting them (and myself) leave at 4pm today.

Also got a fat WinAmp playlist of tunes that I'm sorting through to pass the time. Not too shabby.

Sucks man, Yeah I got a late one tonight so I probably won't be home until about that same time.
Anyone else find the night goes so quick and you just think how did I not get more done? I am usually up till 3am everynight trying to get as much done as possible making up for having to work during the day.

This is quite possibley the most relevant thread I have have ever seen on DSF.

Sitting here filling out paperwork with a Hatcha/Lost/Tunnidge/Subscape/D1 set playing wanting to be at home working on the inspiration im taking from the tunes.

worked on a tune all weekend and I'd love to be at home with the vaporizer and the sound but alas.. I'm here at the office.

Pretty good. Internet tech support. Everyone in my ISP in Washington is down currently, so we're getting a lot of washington calls.

I'm here, and it's Monday. Not going to hope for anything better today given that fact.

However, I'm ahead of my workload right now which means I can try out this new bass bandsplitter/phase inverter plugin (Binvert) I just found...

Afternoon Office Steppers,

Today really sucks balls, got working on something really late last night and really got into the zone, but having to sleep and come to work as messed up my flow.

Anyone find that you always get awesome ideas when you're not at computer? and especially when you are at work and you can't get to your computer for like hours so the idea goes? I always go for smoke breaks and voice record me beat boxing with a beat idea or humming a melody etc. but if I did that for every idea I had during the day I would go for roughly 60 smokes a day

on the upside...ONLY 3 MORE DAYS TILL THE WEEKEND

4hrs late for work as the fucking gear stick popped out on my car and I had to get the AA, then the garage, to take a look to fit it back in. Not pleased. The Orb mix from XLR8R is making things better though.

And tomorrow, working from home as going to see Bill Bailey in the evening

Bill Bailey was fucking SICK last night.

Did the whole stand up comedy thing, interspersed with his music stuff. Used some weird Iranian lute looking thing with 12 strings, a Tenori-On, couple of big synth units and a set of old school bike horns that he used to play 80s synth riffs off.

I was late to work by 10 minutes, doesn't seem much, but my work gets so Anal over even a few seconds. Parking is a mission round here, Plus my car is too big, so even when a space comes up, its always too small.

They are gonna be fucks and make me take 10 minutes off my lunch hour.
FUCK THE MAN!!!

Are they a different type of breed down there?

People like her though seriously have no life, they are those 'Live to work' sadcases who have been corrupted by the system that makes them think that the only way they can make their life complete is to climb up the corrupt hierarchy and lick ass on the way up.
