Second hand records

Post by mr peach » Thu Feb 23, 2006 11:46 pm

discovered a little record shop in lancaster today (near train station).

wasnt expecting much but checked it out anyway.

ended up with:

plasticman - pump up the jam £6
kode 9 + daddi gee - spit £5
horsepower productions - one you need £6
drexciya - digital tsunami £5

i have only just started buying records, and this was my first time second hand, can anyone tell me if these prices were any good?

I dunno about the prices...but good catch w/ "Pump of the Jam". I reckon that's a pretty hard tune to get nowadays

Spit went on Ebay for £15+ the other day if I remember correctly. Rare as fuck these days.

Dont tell vinyl junkies where you picked up rare tunes for cheap ;)

I learnt my lesson with these electronics/DVD/Tele chain of stores here....they started stocking little amount of records in the corner of the store....some proper oldskool hiphop treats....told my mate. He cleared out every store in a 30km radius :x
