I find it amusing how Richard Dawkins, as a die-hard atheist, has devoted more of his time to God(albeit the disproving of) than most theists do.

i think it's important to separate "religious people" vs "people of faith"

at my core i'm convinced God exists and is active/involved, but have little tolerance for organized religion.

Nick Herbert (Physicist-Author): American physicist, best known for his book "Quantum Reality".

After receiving his Ph.D. in Physics from Stanford University, Herbert took on several posts, in both the academia and industry, the most illustrious of which was senior physicist at Memorex Corp., where developed new magnetic materials, as well as magnetic, electrostatic and optical measuring devices, plus theoretical work on Lorenz microscopy. He was also senior physicist at SCM where he deveoped a new theory of xerographic process.

He also held faculty position at Monmouth, Illinois, where he was assistant professor of physics at Monmouth College.

i believe something is going on that we can't see like parson says. i've come close to dying a couple of times and think there's a reason i didn't die, when most people would have under the same circumstances. i also took too much ket one of my first times, which put me on the ground and drooling on myself by the wall at a warehouse party. everything went black, then i saw something really scary happening to me. however long later, my focus came back and what i saw wasn't really happening. some years later, the shit i saw actually happened and reminded me of the vision. i don't know what it means, but i don't have any desire to take ket again. i'm against all of the organized religions, the hate most of it spreads, and the way they use it to collect money.
