With the help of the dubstep bible and many of the members here at DSF. I've finally created my first song. Feedback appriciated.

My main influence is Tek-One.

Your drums got lost in "borroorrrr brrrrrr brororo wowowo brrr"

get the drums upfront!

Pretty good. You should have incorporated Oprah's "over 9000 penises and they're all raping children" bit into this, tho = P

not a bad tune. needs some work in the mix department, though. you have lots of high-mid action going on, but not a lot of bass ( i imagine its due to all the clashing frequencies) and this would be why your drums get sucked out when it drops.

its a good start homie:)

@FluidMoShun "incorporated Oprah's "over 9000 penises and they're all raping children" FUCKING HILARIOUS!! find me this sample :e:

Yeah I really don't know what to do with mixing. I was told to put a filter on my subbass and have it at 20hz low pass and 200hz high pass. But for my mid range bass I didn't know what frequencies to use. So I just put a multiband compression on it. This is my first dubstep song and I really need some tips and some advice about mixing.

As for some legit advice about this song. Try not using the "Its over 9000" bit continuously. Try sampling it once at the start of the wobble part, then just let the bass wobbles kick in and it'll sound sick.
