Cathal Coghlan
Controversial status time merrr. If I call a black guy, who knows I'm not a racist, a ******, will he get offended? If so, why? Had I been black and calling him a ******, there would be no offence caused. So presumably the only racism occurring is on the behalf of the black guy?

Cathal Coghlan tricky one dave, you don't want her thinking she can disobey you ever, so if you let the first order slip without punishment she may assume she can always ignore your first order, so two

Adham Khan well obviously it depends on if you're mates with this guy or not, you wouldn't call some random black guy a ****** if you could avoid doing so

Dave Austin yeah we can't be having a repeat of it, so two would probably be needed this time

Cathal Coghlan why not adham? it doesn't make a difference if we're mates or not, if he knows im not being racist when using the word then it's no different than if a black guy said it to him. If he chooses to be offended then, ironically, he's the racist

Adham Khan agree with ben here, by calling a black person a ******, you're subjecting him to racism as '******' is, as you know, used as a derogatory term by non - black people towards black people. If anything, it should not be used at all to avoid any confusion or tolerence of it

Cathal Coghlan If im not a racist and they know it then i am not subjecting him to racism by calling him a ******. Now if it's not a derogatory term if it's said from a black guy to another black guy with no racist intent then there should be no offence caused by a white guy calling a black guy a ****** if there is no racist intent. If offence is caused, then the black guy is a racist.
