swamp008 just got mastered. According to the Benji B radio show a while back they had releases slated through 011 or 012 i think.

I haven't been very impressed by the speed of releases on Swamp81.
Loefah said himself on the benji b show ages ago that he wanted to get two releases out every month with croydon house coming out earlier september, by my calculations Swamp81 is now 6 releases behind from this two releases a month pledge. Loefah said there is all this great music that just has to get released as soon as possible, well it seems he is failing miserably at the moment. Why announce all the releases up to swamp012 and then 3 months later only manage to release 1 more release up to now swamp007! Anyone else a bit annoyed Loefah gave us all these empty promises about his label? Swamp81 has a huge potential so hopefully Loefah can get on it and get some more releases out!

whinge whinge whinge

obviously we all want to get these tunes asap but sometimes things happen to get in the way. loefah probably shouldn't have said that if he couldn't see it through but just be thankful that some have come out

i get where y' all are coming from and yeah there's loads of great tunes in tracklists with (SWAMP 81) behind them, but keep in mind

loefah doesn't owe you anything.

if he wants to put it out, he'll do it, if he doesn't, he won't. there's loads of reasons why a release is delayed, and only a few of them would be because of the intentions of the label owner.

but now we are critisizing the label anyway: please include vouchers for 320 mp3's with the vinyls. i love collecting vinyl and if the label wants me to buy it instead of buyin mp3's, with all the love of the world i'll do that, cause swamp's got mad artwork aswell. but if i play out i need digitals and i guess that goes for a lot of folks..

and if even deep medi are doing digitals these days..

It's Loefah's label and everything happens exactly how and when he wants it to happen. With the the full support of his distributor.

STH and it's labels are very much focused on quality. Which is why all the labels we distribute don't just churn 'em out at one a month.

The fuck's the big deal if some people complain? The label is a business, an for the passed three months has released zero of the six planned releases, with no word to customers. Of course people are gonna be upset but jus cause loefahs a don of the scene doesnt mean negative things cant be said.

Stigamatism went a bit hard but i too am dissapointed. People complaning should motivate em if anything

I don't think the moaning comes from a bad place, people just really love and respect what the label is doing and want more releases cos they know all the tunes are gonna be BADMAN.

If we're honest, we're probably all a bit disappointed that we haven't had 6 Swamp releases in the past 3 months. And Loefah is a bit slow, isn't he?

Still, focus on the positives, all the tunes that we know are lined up for the label are :o :o :o

I like the fact a high quality label like Swamp81 isn't churning out 394829048329 releases a week.

Slow releases just make that release every bit more special and much more exciting.
