both are amazing (all genres in the world are if you listen to the right stuff)
both serve different purposes
both aren't mutually exclusive
both aren't necessarily time-bound

It really doesn't mate, listen to it a few times. Via my girlfriend I have to listen to a lot of chart music, and this tune is great IMO.
