Beatport Top 100

Can someone please explain to me how the fuck Deadmau5's crappy so called dubstep tune is number one on beatport? And why does it seem ANYTHING from Datsik or Excision's Rottun Recordings label seem to automatically make top 10 downloads.... I feel like something fishy is going on here...

what do you mean? thats just how it is. check the youtube views for deadmau5 and skrillex dubstep tunes, they're huge. the demographic who shop on beatport are just more inclined toward this kind of music

It's simple... because it is a download site more popular with Americans, and as America has over 300 million people, then their style of dubstep is always going to reach higher positions in the Beatport charts. On top of that, they are much more "on it" when it comes to dealing with piracy.
