traktor scratch playlists gone after removing ext. drive!

Post by bustadoug » Sat Dec 18, 2010 9:17 am

any help with this? im new to my mac laptop and traktor scratch pro- i had my preferences set up, midi mapped, and playlists set up and removed my external drive where i am storing my music, opened traktor and my preferences defaulted and my playlists are gone. i looked in the file management tab but im not sure what its telling me- looks like there might be an "!" exclaimation mark after my root dir. and itunes library? maybe that is normal...basically what i need to know is how to retrieve my settings and playlists and how to avoid that happening next time i remove my ext. drive.

You will need to drag your music onto your Mac hard drive, otherwise its going to keep doing it.

^let me clarify- the drive is re installed and my playlists have a red "x" where they should be. i replaced serato sl1 a month ago and serato never ate my playlists or settings- if my drive wasnt plugged in my playlists werent visible until the drive was plugged in
