Only really advice is to pick tracks what go together, sorry!

same, try n sorta take ppl through a journey lol, start of kinda chilled n get more hyped as you go along, n just keep practising of course

With transitions make sure to ease the last track out gradually as you bring the next track in.

Otherwise you are doomed to the

x1 track in mix (sounds good)
x2 track in mix (sounds loud, Great!)
back to
x1 track in mix (sounds a bit weak now :/) even though it is at the same level as before,

if you get a gradual rise in excitement/volume consistently then you have got it. It's all about tricking the ear when you take stuff away, or something like that

(sorry for the crazy ramblings, a strong coffee and hour on the cdj's can do that to ya :6: )
