Little Help

Post by Mc Hammer » Sun Dec 19, 2010 3:14 pm

Hey just starting to get into the Dj-ing side of music recently and have been looking over how i am gonig to go about it.

Due to cost i have decided to go the laptop and mixer option. Therefore i need some good softwear to get my started, some person on here advised me to get Traktor??? So i looked it up online and seen they ahve a demo which i have downloaded. At the moment i'm not to impressed by it... i can't important tracks or do anything with it really.

therei was wondering would the pro versions of this be worth getting, any idea if they allow you to important tracks etc. If so are they easy to torrent ot not?? (if i'm allowed to ask that on here)

Also any advise or tip[s on softwear would be great thanks

Traktor Duo is currently £40.00

There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to import track's into it

You should not be asking about illegal downloads

Do you need audio interface to get the out channel, so u can have 1 track coming thro the headphones while the other is playing? Have an audio interface but not a DJ mixer. Dont really understand the process as not really looked into it. But few dubstep nites popping up in my area and for £40 quid might be worth getting hold of.

used to play D&B on 1210's but sold em yrs ago

If you don't have an interface then you can get the 'Audio 2 DJ' for like £80
