new to dub, lookin for advice

Yo new to dub, i got that wub wub goin alright.. been messin with FL studio for like a month or two now...few questions

Best recommendation of a DAW?

How do you string the "wubs" together so that it sounds smoother and more distinct?
More volume and drop to it as well?

Also, been thinking bout gettin some electronic hardware... For a starter, what would you recommend.. budget is 300-700,
i got a nasty computer i built and was tryin to hook up some hardware to it for intense dubstep production.. suggestions would be appreciated..

other than that, can't wait to rate other people's filthy dubsteps and tryin to get on my way to makin my own!
