DPCdubs...
Ok maybe I'm sticking my neck out a wee bit here by making another thread but hear me out:
Basically there was a plan to make a DSF youtube channel, affiliated to DSF. Now that's not going to happen.
however
There's a channel called DPCdubs ran by myself and a few other people off here. DPC stands for Dubstep Producers' Collective. It's basically ran by Dubstep producers to benefit the wider dubstep community and get their music heard
The channel is here: http://www.youtube.com/dpcdubs
Basically all I'm asking for is your dubs for the channel. I must stress that it's NOT affiliated in any way with DSF. I don't intend to break any site rules, and the mods can feel free to remove this- I'd just like a bit of support for the channel from the members of the site, and I feel that it could benefit yourselves too, in the long run.
To submit tracks for the channel you can do so via the soundcloud dropbox here: http://soundcloud.com/dpcdubs
cheers
Jaydot.

I'd say if your tune didn't make it this time then it won't be put through next month I'm afraid. The idea is to have a maximum of 4 each month and we only have 3 going through after this vote. Your welcome to submit other tracks to be considered in future though.
That's my understanding of the process anyway.

Re: DPCdubs...
does it have to be 130-140 or is autonomic/halftime dnb allowed?
Re: DPCdubs...
Yeah this is right. Things get confusing if we have a big backlog of tracks. Please feel free to resubmit thoughparavrais wrote:I'd say if your tune didn't make it this time then it won't be put through next month I'm afraid. @ hasezwei: We don't really have a rigid criteria as to what we're accepting, because it's so hard to define what is dubstep these days ........ I'd leave that down to the person submitting first and foremost, then let our discretion do the rest. As long as it's not totally and utterly out of the realms of dubstep then you'd be ok.

chances are, if i didn't like it the month before, unless it's undergone an audio facelift and tweaked the hell out of what i didn't like, i'm not gonna vote for it, and honestly if i remember it from the get go give it as much of a chance as the rest of the new tracks

Re: DPCdubs...
I might have missed this, but is there a specific format you're looking for in the drop box?

Just because you are a character, does not mean you have character.

Re: DPCdubs...
fair enough, are members of the panel willing to give feedback on tunes on why they weren't selected if requested?deadly habit wrote:chances are, if i didn't like it the month before, unless it's undergone an audio facelift and tweaked the hell out of what i didn't like, i'm not gonna vote for it, and honestly if i remember it from the get go give it as much of a chance as the rest of the new tracks
