Warning: need lots of help.
Soo I'm having trouble finding structure in my music and im getting stumped on how to make a basic intro. Any input would be well appreciated!
Re: Warning: need lots of help.
Make a 16 bar loop, duplicate it, then take out the drums on the duplicate and place it before your original loop.
There's your intro.

This. I basically hate anything with that "brutal electro" sound; it sounds all like HUGLAGHALGHALGHAL
Re: Warning: need lots of help.
Quiet pad playing similar melody to main part
Stab on every first beat with lots of delay etc playing the root note
Some risers before drop
Reverbed snare/rimshot
Delayed hihats
sparse n ting

Re: Warning: need lots of help.
It's simple advice, but, listen to the artists you love, what are they doing in their intros? How are they structuring their tracks? One of the best ways to learn is to emulate your production heroes. Once you have the basics down you can start putting your own twist on it, and once you get that down you'll eventually naturally move on and start structuring things in your own way

Re: Warning: need lots of help.
This type of question is extremely subjective, It boils down to a case of what works for you and your production.
