Recommend me some headphones please?

Post by LA_Boxers » Wed Dec 29, 2010 11:34 am

Sorry this has been done before but i couldnt find any of the previous threads/am too lazy to go back really far.

Please could somebody either link some previous threads or recommend me some decent headphones for DJing. Got about 100quid to spend on them so looking for something pretty decent. What some Ninja experiences/input please.

Also looking for a decent external hardrive for a mac for less than 100quid.....anybody got suggestions for this too please??

Gotta love xmas money!!

Aye big up on eBuyer. Where I get all my computer parts and shit from, really good.

I'd also take some recommendations on DJ headphones.

Yeah i currently have those. Had them for about a year, and had a proper battering. The lead is too short for my liking and after a short while of playing in a club i really cant hear anything through them. Want something to really make everything super clear.
Went in about 5 pages and couldnt find anything about just headphones....which is why i started a new thread. sorry.

I bumped this thread (http://dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=43167) about an hour ago, but not had any responses yet so I'll repeat my question in here :)
I need to buy some new headphones for DJing, want something pretty cheap but also durable and dont sound like shit. I got some £20 Sennheiser HD205 when I started Djing and they've lasted me all this time but now one of the headphones is starting to cut in and out

have a go at taking them apart and resoldering the connection - thats your cheapest option. ive done it with a few pairs in the past, its usually just twist damage from one-earing them too much. ive done it ona pair of pioneer ones and sennheisers

Yeah these look kinda cool and are about 40quid or so cheaper than the sennheisers. Anybody else got any experience with the AKGs??

Am i just being tight or should i just splash the extra 40quid to get the sennheisers?
