FWD was fucking bigggg!
Big up JME for turning up and touching mic, didn't overpower the DJ or take away the focus, just rode the tracks nicely and boosted the hype.
Big up N-Type for dropping that Hovercraft track by Cotti, shame it was clearing out by then. Big up Youngsta for teasing in Midnite Request Line, good thing you didn't drop it, people were on some proper lemonface business - BASSFACES!
Big up the bouncer, even if you did let in 40 queue jumpers before me - the one in one out thing filtered out the chin strokers from the real ravers!
Never made it to the afterparty, was way too tired, big up the hot-dog sellers who were giving people directions to it though!

Talk about busy! I was squashed up in the left - skanking room seriously limited. Loved Appleblim's set. Crazy glitchy, granite techno business. Kode 9 did Kode 9 warrior damage and N-Type amped it right up to.... eleven? Good hearing some different styles – and outings for 2D and that intensive snares Plastician record. You stupid in the face? I was, after spending too long at that nutty afterparty. I predict a whole lot more of that over the summer. Nice up Heva (wrong thread I know but the two nights blurred into one).

What was the deal with all the really aggressive guys at the front. The space was limited and so much pushing around was going on.
Every set was wicked and N Type blew the roof off at the end

Don''t watch the mix, but sick tunes. Bringing much needed diversity to FWD. As did Kode9. That Warrior Queen tune was stupid! Two rewinds from Pokes! Large. And that new Burial tune his played right at the beginning. Serious!ewah wrote:Loved Appleblim's set. Crazy glitchy, granite techno business
pain the arse. No awareness of other people around him. I know a few people had a word.monkeytown wrote:What was the deal with all the really aggressive guys at the front. The space was limited and so much pushing around was going on
Big up to Rusko looking really suprised that people were going mental to Cokney Thug which N-type opened the set with. Your chest.
Large up JME, a true MC of the highest calibre.
Large up Bliss and Ewah - standard Soliders!
Afterparty was stupid too. Police serching people on the way out! Jokers.

The main pillar in front of the decks. There were about 3-4 guys dancing like there was no one else in the room. My girlfriend got thrown into the pillar about 3 times and got felt up. Most of it took place when Kode 9 was playing so we went to the back of the dance floor to get away from it.Elementalism wrote:monkeytown wrote:Agreed.Digital wrote:Bare dickheads. Generally, the atmosphere was good and the music was sick. Just a small annoyance with a few pricks.
