anyone use fl and dblue glitch together?
within fl, everything is fine. but once i've exported my track, the audio affected by Glitch comes out sounding different.
has anyone ever had this problem?

Re: fl+dblue_Glitch
I do believe it's because D Blue Glitch is still operating slightly randomly ever time you play it back. It's frustrating.
Re: fl+dblue_Glitch
yeah, it does sound a little different everytime. you wouldn't happen to know any retrigger plugins similar to glitch would you?

Re: fl+dblue_Glitch
Really not sure, mate. I'd be curious about that as well if anyone knows?
Re: fl+dblue_Glitch
You can tell db glitch when to play the effect you want.
2 keyboards 1 computer

Re: fl+dblue_Glitch
Yeah, but they still chuck in some form of random parameter change every now and again unless you change the "seed" (to all the way 0 I think?!)
Re: fl+dblue_Glitch
Fix all the other settings to 0 and you're grand. :vader

Re: fl+dblue_Glitch
dblue glitch starts moving across the effects differently depending on which bar you clicked on in the track. I usually apply the effect and make sure it works then bounce the glitched wav because depending on where the song starts playing from will affect where/how the effect is triggered in dblue glitch.

dBlue Glitch is a royal piece o' crap. I know one of the guys who developed it. When I first met him, I told him I wanted to slap him for it.

Hmm.. I'd hardly say it was a piece of crap with subtle use, with an effects' chain on a perc line pitched down and octave that goes
> Delay
> Short Reverb
> D Blue
> Bigger, darker Reverb
sidechained to the kick
I've had some niiice results.
Re: fl+dblue_Glitch
SugarBytes Effectrix. Its similar to Glitch but better imo.65L wrote:yeah, it does sound a little different everytime. you wouldn't happen to know any retrigger plugins similar to glitch would you?

It's only crap because so many people use it and just leave it as it's Default setting on the drum buss or whatever to create InstaFills. If people take the time to properly program it, it's amazing.
[That being said, the Tape Stop is one of the most recognisible sounds in electronic music to me right now]

Effectrix is what Dblue Glitch should have been but never was.
Don't use Glitch in production, because it just sounds like Glitch. I use effectrix live, but if you are gonna put glitch into your songs, stop being lazy and do it manually!

Re: fl+dblue_Glitch
Ahh I love it to bits, it's really useful. Tried using it on an acapella to glitch up the vocals and it sounded so sweet...
One thing though, is it just my computer but is it an absolute CPU hog?
Anyone else the same? :s
