I used Acid from version 1.0 all the way up to 6, and then I discovered Reaper...

And now I want to kick Sony in the balls for wasting so much of my time.

Reaper was based on the Acid/Vegas layout model but improves on it in so many ways (IMHO.) Oh, and it costs a fraction of what Acid Pro costs. Oh, and it's a 5 MB install and not a 700 MB install. Oh, and its VST support is a lot better.

Srsly. :D

yeh ur bang on alphacat regarding the vst support, the ones that come with it are not all that at all & as far as sounding like rusko or be like rusko theres no point me even producing now is there as that would be copying and not being original

I used Acid a long time. I can tell you that since switching to ableton lite my tracks sound better. More fluid work flow that leaves more for creativity

Yeah I use sony Acid, but only for resampling. Basically I create all the sounds with my plugins in FL Studio, then export as audio clips and arrange/cut/whatever in Sony ACID. (because Acid has terrible automation controls compared to FL Studio).
I really like how you can arrange and cut up audio clips in Acid. I never use the midi capabilities though, because I find it too confusing and tedious.

Reaper + ReWire + FLstudio = WIN.
