It's just music ffs stop trying to pidgeonhole every tune with a dense sub-genre name.

"chillstep" doesn't exist, just cos most people listen to filth they think thats what dubstep started like, no.

Thanks Zeta-Sagittarii! :) Windowmaker man.. i'm sorry to say but i guess you don't like the fact that a popular genre actually does have sub genres, dubstep has a few and i am sure a lot of people on this forum will agree with me, don't wanna be rude or attack you but i feel you could have said that with a bit more... well could have been less aggressive, we all know dubstep didn't start up with filth. No need to repeat what has already been discussed on this forum a million times. So either you could have just said no this isn't any of the above it is just dubstep or just keep your opinion to yourself. no need for more bumbaclart wastemans to start chatting doodoo. sorry for calling you a wasteman but that really did annoy me. But yeah i'm down for dubstep brostep gorestep chillstep 2step, nah i'm playing with you man no need to get all vexed ;)

spell my name right please. Gorestep isn't real, chillstep isn't real "drumstep" is becoming real (god knows why) even though its been around for ages.... but people in dnb just called it halftime.. ugh.. these "sub genres" only exist on the internet between losers. when u go out toa real club you dont hear people saying "omg this dj sucks hes playing chillstep all night"... im not vexed, stop acting like you're a badman from the bits.

Oh sorry, honestly didn't mean to write that, Widowmaker*. Hmm it seems pretty real to me of course i can't touch it but you know i can hear it. So it does exist even if its on the internet between losers? So you're calling everyone that says brostep chill step and bla bla a loser? yeah i don't hear them saying he's playing chillstep all night but definitely have heard fuck this brostep dj! haha good i'm glad your not ;) wouldn't want you to get upset now would i? :) nawhh acting like you know me. Thats cute. Just to let you know, if you mean ghetto's or whatever by saying the bits, then i'm definitely from the ghetto and none of that bullshit english ghetto. Where people actually have money and a yard i'm from mauritius and this place might be known as a paradise but man this place is rough as fuck. So don't chat about ''the bits'' to me, i lived in england for a while, the ''hoods'' there actually make me laugh.

to be fair tho widowmaker has a point, there are no subgenres in dubstep, it's all just dubstep, yes there are different sounds and interpretations of the genre but its all called dubstep. I have a definite problem with the term chillstep because generally its used by people who think that dubstep has to be filthy wobbles and anything that isn't filthy must be some other genre, when the chilled stuff is just as dubstep as the more aggressive stuff (in fact the chilled stuff came much earlier than the filthy stuff anyway, in chronological terms)

also, regarding "brostep", that was a running joke on the forum but for some reason people have started thinking its an actual genre (it was just a piss take name for any really badly produced filthy stuff, not an actual genre)

please, just call it all dubstep and be done with it...

aaaaaanyway, i do like the tune man, nice vibe

fair enough particle you make some good points! see if someone just explain it nicely its much better.. :) I haven't been on this forum for ages but i have been listening to dubstep for like hmmmm 5 years something? well start of like 2006 obviously not from the beginning but enough to know that dubstep isn't just filthy stuff and bla bla, i listen to a bit of everything but what attracted me to the genre was sensi dub by cotti and haunted by digital mystikz and like rsd who's like one of my best friend(s) dad, but yeah my point... i'm not exactly new to the genre and i didn't start liking dubstep cause of datsik dropping some filth i loved it cause going to hench nights in bristol seeing like gemmy, pinch, jakes komonazmuk, lost, gate keeper, joker and basically the list goes on! (by the way if you haven't been to a dubstep night in bristol then GO! its absolutely worth every penny) Just to let you guys know ;) cause it seems like you guys might be thinking i'm one of those kids that bum dubstep cause its the big thing right now. but yeah thanks man! means alot :)
