loads of it is going to be invested in good stuff.
but how would you make a living until the rest of your live of it?
is it at the current state of financial crisis possible (and how)?

living for the rest of your life would be difficult on that kind of money without some luck in investments. i'd probably wait for the market to bottom out and buy some nice property, probably get the most mileage out of that.

Chuck it all into as high an interest account as you can find, then live off the interest. You'd probably have to downside your living a bit to accomodate, but providing you stayed in a tight budget you could do it indefinitely (witihn reason)

I'd probably spend a bit initially, then just carry on with my life as normal and put the money aside, probably not even tell many people about it. It's a boring answer but you'd never have any financial stress. Imagine one day your house burned down and through some loophole your insurance wouldn't pay, you could just shrug it off like you split a glass of water.

Eh.. it goes quicker than you might think, tbh. It's certainly nothing you can sit back and relax on.
A close family member won half a million on the Lottery nearly 2 years ago now and it's almost gone but they've invested in a couple of nice houses in a desirable area that should hopefully hold their value.

real estate ( in a major city). it outperforms every stock market, just as long as you don't seek financing. buy outright, and watch your money double or triple. after that, as has been said, invest in solar or wind energy (both of which are at a watershed moment)

thats what i learned a long tim ago, too. just thought realestate after the crash is not anymore wher its at/was, but could be im missing out...thanks!
