I wouldn't go that far, LA was quite something. As for Ikonika there's a lot of stuff from her that I find refreshing and original. Attacking their work as artists when they're just giving out opinions about a forum is a bit much isn't it ? They must have their reasons for saying such things.
I would like some explanations tho, about wtf Flylo might have against this forum...

if you don't like either of these then i can't help you brother
first of all im not a bro.
secondly blatant jazzsampling and sidechaining all over the place just doesnt do it for me.
and to rönin: im just expressing my opinion not attacking anyone, this is a forum place for opinions.
i just dont like the atonality in ikonikas recent (and older works) sorry.
they have their reasons (but they didnt care to elaborate) i have my reasons but i even told you...
the atonality, bad sampling, always sidechaining (instead of getting the mix right)

am i not allowed to say that?
You certainly are, I was just thinking you were resorting to that argument against their own opinions towards this forum (which would have been pretty poor.)
My bad if I was wrong then

On his part I would say it’s a little dismissive to slate this forum with those kind of remarks. Forums like this one are a meeting point for people to advertise and discuss music and it certainly has helped alot of people (including him and her) get their music listened too along the way. Yeah you get idiots on here that are just trying to get a rise from certain people by making certain comments but more often than not they get shot down by the rest. I’ve been in dubstep for the past 6 years first as Whiteboi (HENCH) now as Orphan101 and the genre has changed in all directions just like it is supposed too. So what if people diss the bangers and the so called "brostep" side of things If your a producer or even a fan and that’s what you enjoy then more power to you no one should ever tell you what to and not to like taste is a personal decision.

tbh i think it's comments like this that probably make him think the forum's stupid! you seem to have an ideal of 'correctness' that people should aspire to that i can imagine he's not interested in at all.
flylo uses sidechaining as an instrument, in a dilla-donuts vein. the entire aesthetic of his music would be different if he didn't use it, it's not just him not knowing how to 'mix right'! i think he's got his production skills locked down more precisely than 99% of producers hence how he's managed to forge a sound that is completely his own.
what's 'bad sampling??
plus if you listen to his quote in context he's not just attacking forums for no reason - he's talking about having some sort of technology that would allow musicians to collaborate instantaneously

He should just get a Dropbox, and shut up about Dubstepforum.
