Live Custom Drumkits?

Post by WCTPro » Sun Feb 20, 2011 5:08 am

Well I'm new to Dubstep and I was wondering how you build custom drumkits in Ableton Live? Thank you:) (I'm currently using the demo but probably upgrading to full version soon :D) By custom drumkit I mean where you can choose your own drums sounds for the individual pads. I'm not sure if I'm using the right terms lol ;p Thank you!
Thanks a bunch!!!!

Open up the drum rack and just drag and drop your samples into each square, program your midi and voila, custom drums.

You should really read the manual or look in one of the MANY threads and resources before you make topics like these, you could find the answer in five minutes with a google search.

Live might take a little more time to wrap your head around it. But I'd go with that.
This. I basically hate anything with that "brutal electro" sound; it sounds all like HUGLAGHALGHALGHAL

k:) Thanks man:) I was leaning towards it but I couldn't decide because it FL Studio seemed a little easier to use but I think you might be able to do more with Live. Thanks!
