Kromestar and Skream use bitcrushing on their basslines a lot, to give it similarities to the 'yoy' sound but without overdoing it too.

You know bitcrushing wasn't invented by Doctor P? People have been using it in all styles for ages. Personally I didn't like the song, sounded too cheesy for me. Bitcrushing sounds much better on percs/leads IMO.

Bitcrushing is one of the fundamental techniques in dubstep.... some producers just take it further than others.
