Deep bass with 3xOsc?
Hey all fellow dubsteppas.
I am working on a new tune and I am really having a hard time getting that really deep bass.
I am making my bassline with 3xOsc and can't find anything on how to get a nice deep bass.
Edit: I haven't put any subbass in yet.
This is what it sounds like now.
Soundcloud
Thanks in advance!

Re: Deep bass with 3xOsc?
deep bass? for sub in 3xosc put octave to c8 and turn volume down on osc 2 and 3 and 1 all the way up and chose the sinewave thats a deep bass for u
otherwise just play around with square and trianglewaves if u want something like that

Thank you! Already helped a ton. Though I'm still a rookie at producing music, so I don't really get the "put octave to c8" part. Can you explain it for me?Nacklewicket wrote:deep bass? for sub in 3xosc put octave to c8 and turn volume down on osc 2 and 3 and 1 all the way up and chose the sinewave thats a deep bass for u

Re: Deep bass with 3xOsc?
You can turn the CRS knob all the way down to -24 as well.
Some people like to layer a triangle wave or square wave 12 semitones higher as well too. This is lowpassed.
Just be aware of some phazing issues that may occur using 2 sine ways on top of each other. Either switch to a different waveform or adjust the phase (slight detune in 3xosc)
