Critical is the brainchild of DJ and producer Kasra. A label Started out of frustration at the lack of quality tune filtering being practiced by some major imprints, the label has gradually gathered pace through carefully selected releases and now occupies a unique, hard-fought and respected place in the drum n bass scene.
As Critical has grown, so has its reputation and popularity. Recognised for nurturing new talent artists such as Break, Calibre, Spectrasoul, Icicle, Rockwell, Total Science, S.P.Y and more have seen Critical as a fitting home for their music.
In recent years, Kasra has created in Critical a unique identity that is respected the world over and has ultimately left an indelible mark on the drum and bass scene. A label that has released a steady flow of innovative singles and albums with the recent Critical Sound Compilation and Sabre's A Wandering Journal setting the benchmark for quality drum and bass.
