★ Vent ★ (Hardcore Beats/DC Breaks)
---------------------------
Vent are very much our cup of tea, and we're pretty confident they'll be yours too! An act that defines our music policy perfectly who have been smashing up dancefloors since they formed waaay back in 2008.
Having stormed onto the breaks scene with nominations at Breakspoll and releases on UK labels Hardcore Beats & Colony Productions, VENT are now impressing their ideas of mashing tempos on their series 'Deviant Creatures' featuring breaks, dubstep and 100bpm party mayhem.
Their growing reputation as one of the scene’s most exciting DJs has seen them play Annie Nightingale’s Pussy Parlour, Glade and regularly across Europe and the UK. Their championing of bassline music will also be taking them to Australia, New Zealand and America towards the end of the year. Deviant Creatures Pt. 2 has just been released, and the 4 part series will continue into 2010.
VENT have previously worked with Si Begg, Cursor Miner, Crunch (Tipper), Deekline & Wizard, CTRL Z & Stereo:Type, and have further projects in the pipeline with Reso, Pyramid, DC Breaks, Epcot, Ill Spoken, Foreign Beggars, Eskmo, Profisee, Opiuo, Afghan Headspin and many more...
It's acts like this that make Deathwish what it is!!

★ Delta Heavy ★ (Ram Records)
--------------------
Delta Heavy was born the moment Ben Hall and Si James decided to pursue their ambition of mediocre fame, semi fortune and making loud music, in the hope of averting forty long years in an office. Despite a complete lack of production experience, three years of hard work paid off when their track Abort was released on Viper Recordings in mid 2010. Having been a regular on dance floors all year, it topped download charts and received support on Radio 1 from Zane Lowe and others.
Combining their love of cinematic soundscapes, house, techno and the 80s with the impact and punch of an unexpected blow to the face, Ram Records was an obvious outlet for their sound and they were signed over the summer of 2010. Opening or closing Andy C’s sets for the majority of last year, debut single Space Time was one of the biggest tracks of 2010, leading to three separate nominations for Best Single, Best New Producer & Best New DJ at the Drum&BassArena Awards.
The boys are currently headlining massive drum n bass nights around Europe and are booked to headline Hospitality in Miami in a few weeks time!!
A lot of this is down to their monster tune 'Space Time' which hit number 1 on Beatport charts pretty much the second it dropped! Check out the link to the tune below...

★ James D'Ley ★ (Rocstar/Supercharged)
----------------------------
Not aware of the man they call James D'ley ? Well since picking up a Best breakthrough DJ nomination at the brits of breakbeat aka Breakspoll in 2010 , he has been on the tip of the everyones tongues within the breakbeat scene not to mention creating carnage left right and center on the U K's dance floors and beyond , but don't take our word for it you only have to look at James's club CV and current residencies to see he has torn it up with the very best of them in all the major clubs you can think off, most notably becoming one of a select few breaks DJ's to grace the shores of the infamous white isle touching down at the mighty Eden no less.
Being tipped as 2011's rising bright star of breakbeat by Best Label winner boss Asad Raja from Funkatech records is just one of many salutes to the mans quest to take Breakbeat to the masses, this is a set not to be missed!

★ 2 Bit Thugs ★ (www.2bitthugs.com)
---------------------------------------
The Thugs met in Brighton in 2002 after drunkenly agreeing that music at clubs should never be progressive, dull or pretentious. A few pints later and the pair realised their shared interest in broken beats, rapping and heavy basslines and they began combining their musical tastes and talents. Playing hip hop, funk and beats the duo gained a reputation as party DJs across Brighton and they held their own residency at legendary Brighton subterranean bar ‘Ali Cats’ where they held weekly parties, hosting names such as JFB (UK DMC champion), Cut La Roc, Ashley Slater (Freakpower), Bushy, Kidda, Flevans and a host of local VJs.
Production was the next logical step and the thugs set out on what was to become a lifelong passion. Churning out their own tracks and remixes to play out, the pair experimented with all genres but felt most at ease with breakbeat – the combination of its broken beats and heavy basslines was ideal. They were taken under the wing of breaks maestros NineLives The Cat and Vlad Sokolov and learnt the tricks of the production trade. It wasn’t until later meeting fidget supremo The Bulgarian that their love of house music began and things really started to take off.
2 Bit Thugs smashed onto the emergent fidget/electro house scene in 2008 with their genre-crushing blend of shit-kicking beats, apocalyptic elastic bass lines and trademark hip hop influences. Never taking life too seriously their distinctive 'gangster house' sound received critical acclaim, support and hype from numerous international blogs, DJs and press; making them amongst the hottest producers & remixers in the scene right now. Always keen to stay one step ahead of the game the 2 Bit Thugs now bring their trademark style to all genres of music. Too hard to pigeonhole the pair have freed themselves of being tied to any scene, and their tracks range from Baltimore bangers through 2 step, to low-slung hip hop.
