grime beat (8bit style) & slow house (deep)

Post by joonipah » Wed Mar 02, 2011 12:37 am

Haven't posted on here in ages, hope you enjoy these + feedback is welcome

I just uploaded this one today, unfinished grimey/dubstep beat - Soundcloud

This tune I uploaded fairly recently, wondering if anyone's feeling it? Chilled slow house one - Soundcloud

Both tracks are sick! loved the stripped back feel of the 1st track, and the hi hat on the off beat was a great touch, keeps the track rolling, this is a really original beat! The slow house one was great aswell, so ambient and mellow, made me think of booka shade..

Thanks man, glad you're into them. not at the moment as I might see if vocals could work over the grimey one, and it's just a clip. I could pm u 320's of both if you wanted tho?
Cheers!

I think the grime beat could probably do with some sort of very minimal bassline, at which point it'd definitely work with the right mc over it. At the moment it sounds good and could definitely be useful for people to stick into mixes but it's too bare to be a song in it's own right. Lot of potential though.
