you find the light yourself.

dubstep way down low.

not handed out on a platter.
walking by some murky venue
bass eminating from within.
A turn of the head...
You go with the flow,
enter the realm of the deep.
Like minded people all eyes down.
Ribs, nose and eyes all vibrating
The room feels dark and welcome
the DJ leading the meditating.
it aint for all but is for some.
Wow. words of wisdom.

I know i cant just find my holy grail of dub posted in some ones forum about "real dubstep." cause all any of this is is opinion. i do however think in this information age it is MUCH easier to discover new sounds and such... because of the internet. i dont think you guys understand. im from a town where about .001% of the population even knows the term dubstep. I stumbled upon it one day messing around on YouTube. i dont have the privilege of living where dub started (

) or ANY of the places where i can just go out to a show every week and discover my own personal gold first hand. not yet anyways. as soon as im able i WILL be touring the world in search of that sound that i know i need... but have only ever come REALLY close to finding. but for now, i kinda do have to rely on others from behind my computer screen. i dont think i should be condemned for that? I'm not changing my tastes to fit public opinion. im DISCOVERING that there is a whole AMAZING world of dub out there, far beyond the fart like noises that first intrigued me.
I swear some of you are just impossible to agree with... you have some sort of wall built up that says you are the musical superior and everyone should just try and suck some of the genius from your tits. (not directed to snypa. i think your words were wise and quite reasonable.) and if you arent PRECISELY SPECIFIC in any post at least a few people are going to pick at you in any way possible.
i KNOW that i have to discover it for myself.
im saying thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
If i was just following in line i would be listening to the top artist on the forum...
i dont... i dont really like randamalapamala guy... and i dont really like skream...
and ill be honest. i think sandsnake is a shit tune.
i like that there are TONS of dubstep tunes out there that have one thing american dubstep is missing.
soul...
